Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Yellowlidz website (yellowlidz.com) and our reusable moving crate rental services. By using our website or booking our services, you agree to these Terms.

Our service

Yellowlidz rents heavy-duty, reusable moving crates with delivery to and pickup from locations in Portland, Oregon and surrounding areas. We deliver crates to your specified address, you pack and use them for your move, and we return to pick them up at the agreed time.

Booking & rental terms

• Rental plans, pricing, and included features are as published on our Pricing page and are subject to change.
• Delivery and pickup are scheduled based on availability at the time of booking. Deliveries outside our core Portland zone may incur a distance fee — see our Pricing page for current tiers.
• You are responsible for the crates during your rental period. A $20 fee applies per lost or damaged crate and $50 per lost dolly, assessed at pickup.
• Rentals are billed on the plan and schedule agreed to at booking. To extend, contact us before your return date — an extra week is billed at your plan's discounted rate. If crates are not returned and no extension was arranged, a daily late fee applies (see Pricing page), automatically converting to a standard extra-week charge after 5 late days.
• Need more crates mid-rental? We'll deliver more for $4 per additional crate plus a $25 re-delivery fee.
• Assistance carrying crates up or down stairs during delivery or pickup is available for $10 per flight; handling it yourself is free.

Cancellations & rescheduling

Cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours before your scheduled delivery at no charge. Cancellations inside 48 hours carry a $40 fee. If crates have already been delivered, cancelling instead carries a $75 restocking fee.

SMS & communications consent

By providing your phone number when booking or contacting us, you agree to receive service-related text messages from Yellowlidz (such as booking confirmations and delivery/pickup reminders). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for assistance. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information, including SMS opt-in data.

Acceptable use

You agree to use our website and services only for lawful purposes and not to misuse, damage, or interfere with our crates, equipment, or website.

Limitation of liability

Yellowlidz provides its services on an "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yellowlidz is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
